Be Immovable

“Therefore, my dear brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the Lord’s work, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭58‬ HCSB)

The message here is simple, folks. God, through the Apostle Paul, is telling us that we need to get up off our comfortable, temple pews, get out of our temples, and get to work! Jesus gave all Christians a command:

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age (Matthew‬ ‭28:19-20‬ ‭HCSB‬‬).”

Jesus also said:

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth (Acts‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭HCSB‬‬).”

What this means is get up, get out and start making disciples and teaching them to make multiply themselves in others. It’s about rapid multiplication, not occasional addition.

So, you say you would like to do this, but don’t know how? If you’re serious, check this website out: http://www.zumeproject.com
So then,

  • how will you obey today’s Scriptures?
  • With whom will you share today’s Scriptures?
  • With whom will you share your story (testimony) and Jesus’ story, today?

If we are disciples of Christ, we must be fruitful (John 15:8) and multiply (2 Timothy 2:2). This is not an option, it’s a command.

In Christ’s love,

Phil
